What Data We Access

When you click the PagePilot icon, the extension reads the HTML of the current tab to perform an SEO audit. This includes page title and meta tags, heading structure, image alt attributes, link counts, word count, and other standard HTML elements.

Where Data Goes

Nowhere. All analysis is performed entirely within your browser. No data is sent to any external server, API, or third party. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry.

Data Storage

PagePilot stores only your tier status (free/pro) locally in Chrome's storage. No audit results are stored or persisted.

Third-Party Services

PagePilot uses no third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools.

Permissions Explained

• activeTab — Access the current tab's content when you click the extension icon
• storage — Store your local preferences
• scripting — Inject the content script to read page HTML for analysis
